Three local projects need your support as Bags for Help vote opens

bags-of-helpThree local projects need your vote to help them win funds for exciting projects to benefit young people in our community.

Voting in Tesco’s Bags for Help scheme starts next Monday, 31st October, and is open until 13th November.

Your votes will determine how much each project receives – £12,000 £10,000 or £8,000.

The three projects are:
Ermington School – called Music, mud and mindfulness, it will provide a mud kitchen, an outdoor musical instruments area and a sensory garden.
If they come first or second, they could also install an outdoor puppet theatre, more complex outdoor instruments and more tree and shrub planting.

Fit and Fun @Bittaford want to regenerate a multi sports and play area, including providing new equipment for a wider age range of young people and children and replacing worn out items already present.
If they came first or second, their improvements would include more new equipment.

Woodlands Park School – The Come Outside! Project will fund an outdoor classroom with cob and stone oven and seating area, all-weather cobbled path, sensory garden, mud kitchen and wild flower bank for insect conservation.
If they came first or second, they would install a dry stone wall habitat, a water wall and a climbing area. They’d also like to provide waterproofs for all key stage 1 children so they can go outside in wet weather.
